Solving FWD Axle Vibrations What to Look For
Over the years I’ve run into this issue more times than I can count. A vehicle has a mystery vibration on acceleration, or during certain driving conditions. The culprit is often the inner CV joint.
The take away here is beware of aftermarket parts, but I’m sure you already knew that.
I hope this information is helpful and saves you some time and frustration.

Progress is being made. In this episode the fuel tank, K member, and lower control arms go in. I also wrap up some of the stuff on the back of the engine and install rigid collars. Just for fun, go check out the video of when I first got this car (linked below) and compare it to what it is now. I’m quite proud of the transformation of this iconic car. Eric THANK YOU for this video. I have a question please. I am having this P0325 on my Honda Accord 03. I have replaced the knock sensor twice, thinking it was faulty, however, my engine has no knock. At this point, I have ordered a Voltmeter and will be testing the knock sensor as seen in your video here, but also testing the pins for damage and wiring. The only symptom my car has is the code along with weaker engine performance. No knock, no gas guzzling, just hard to go up hills and accelerate. Do you think it’s probably the computer, so the pins? I hope this makes sense. Thank you

Thank you for your videos. I’ve been watching your videos for quite a while and always enjoy them and learned several things very helpful to help me with my projects. I have a major problem could you suggest some solutions? I have a 99 Ford F350 diesel 4 x 4 with the 7.3 engine. It seems like the engine is seized. Is it possible that the torque converter could be seized & simulates the engine being seized,? how can I tell if the torque converter is seized or not. If it is seized how would I get the torque converter off the engine ? thank you

It's a K20. Very dependable and easier to work on than the 1.5 turbo. It has port injection, and can be paired with a nice 6 speed manual in the hatchback. It's not going to wow you with power, but will likely get you several hundred thousand miles of worry free driving.

I have a question about the power steering (Audi A4 B5), which makes a noise when the engine is running and you move the steering wheel even a little (the more the louder). Also, hydraulic oil is leaking somewhere, but I can't find the location for the life of me. However, the leak is so big that the expansion tank is almost empty within 2-3 minutes. Any idea where this could typically be on the A4 B5... ?

IF it's a recently replaced catalytic converter, and the temps of the inlet is 100degrees higher than the outlet, could there be an issue causing it to not be doing it's job? Such as exhaust leak, or perhaps bad spark plugs causing unburnt gas getting into the cats?

The steering rack does not bend from hitting a curb. Tie rods will bend long before they could transfer enough stress into the rack to do any kind of damage, and the rack would blow a seal before it would bend. It's likely that the control arm, knuckle, or strut is what's bent.

Question. My wife has an 2002 Acura TL base model. New spark plugs and coils, checked compression, all good. Car drives ok, but there's a random code for misfire on either one or more cylinders, but so random the check engine light doesn't stay on if I clear it. Eventually the check engine light does come on. What's next, fuel injectors?
